Curtis “CR” Rosemond,  President and CEO

 

Curtis Rosemond is a native of El Paso, Texas.

He moved to Las Cruces in 1999. Rosemond is a long-term community leader and businessman.  He has a long history with Chambers. He served as Chairman of the Board for the Greater Las Cruces Chamber and for the past two years as Vice President of the Las Cruces Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, before being hired for his current position as President and CEO.

He recently retired from Walmart, where he served as the Store Director for 30 years. He is the president of Final Frontier Tours, LLC, the official tour guide to Space Port America and he is also the Director of Operations for VIP Southwest Services and Tours.

He is the Executive Advisor to the NM Office of African American Affairs and serves as the President for the Doña Ana County NAACP Branch. Rosemond has served and continues to serve on numerous boards that help make our community the best place to live.
